As a native Floridian, I love
the beach, the sound of the waves at night
and the ocean breeze is mesmerizing. I have two dachshunds, and they're adorable...my heart and soul. (besides my husband David of course! lol) I love my family, good friends, good food, and good conversation...basically, just spending time with the people I love (it doesn't get any better than that!) Reading and watching movies are two of my favorite hobbies. I also have a pretty sweet book collection that I am very proud of. It consists of almost all fantasy, and about 90% are hardcover 1st editions. I only started reading about 3 years ago, I had to stop working due to an unexpected disability and I needed to fill the time. A friend gave me a copy of The Lord the Rings when I was in the hospital...and I was hooked! I have read everyday since! :o)
*fyi (if anybody cares to know, lol) I actually started here on the RAS board in 3/06, then changed my user name in 2007. I guess that makes me... aka 'Elphaba33'..
